Introduction Welcome to Retail EDI (retailedi.com), a business media platform designed to connect EDI Buyers and Providers, including job seekers, freelancers, software providers, and service providers. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Platform Scope and Limitations Retail EDI is not directly involved in facilitating B2B integrations or related projects. Instead, we provide a space for users to promote themselves, connect, and engage under the disciplines of EDI. While monetary transactions are not currently processed through our platform, we reserve the right to introduce transaction facilitation features in the future.
3. User Accounts and Representation
- Each user may create and manage a buyer and provider role for the same account. This is offered to help users do more on the site without having to create multiple accounts, credential sets and more. If you want to keep your ‘job’ account separate, we suggest creating one account for that, and another to promote whatever service you offer. This doesn’t cost anything, but a little time and may provide benefits beyond simplifying account management on your end.
- Users can post portfolios, case studies, press releases, news stories, requirements, capabilities, and services.
- Press releases and news stories may be posted to Google News and Retail EDI’s homepage on LinkedIn.
- Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their postings.
4. Content and Engagement
- Retail EDI is a business-oriented platform, and content should remain professional and relevant to the industries served, including healthcare, logistics, transportation, procurement, and consumer distribution.
- Users are prohibited from posting misleading, fraudulent, or offensive content.
- Retail EDI reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate.
- Accounts that display unusual behavior, including spammy looking email addresses, company names, and other content may be deleted, or suspended.
5. Chat and Communication Features
- Retail EDI offers a chat feature to facilitate communication between users.
- Retail EDI does not guarantee real-time notifications or monitoring of chat messages.
- Users are responsible for their own interactions and should exercise discretion, and common sense when sharing sensitive information.
6. Privacy and Security
- Retail EDI values user privacy and does not sell personal data to third parties.
- Users should avoid sharing confidential business information through the platform.
- While we take measures to secure user data, Retail EDI is not responsible for unauthorized access due to user negligence.
